  • 1 saccidAnanda vallIzam - This may also be interpreted as a description of Lord Siva as the greatest epitome of truth,consciousness and bliss. valli in general means a creeper and hence this could also be translated as describing the Lord as a divine creeper signifying truth,consciousness and bliss.
  • 2 jagajjIvEzAkaraM janana vilaya-karaM - This is a classic example of an volteface and a grammatical oxymoron. In the first part jagajjIvEzAkaraM , the Lord is described as the creator of the entire universe and the creatures. In the second half janana vilaya-karaM , He is described as the destroyer of all life emphasizing on the fact that Lord Siva governs the gateway to the world of the after-death.
