- 2 nīvē kāni vērevaru lēru – This can be interpreted in two ways ’there is no one else excepting You’ (to protect me) or ’there is no one else (in my mind) excepting You’. As has been noted below, this kriti being in ‘Nayaki Bhava’, the latter version seems to be more appropriate.
- 3 nā karamu paṭṭu – hold my hand – literally means ‘marry me’. This Kriti is in ‘Nayaki Bhava’
