- ’’’ This Kriti forms part of dance-drama ‘Prahlada Bhakti Vijayam’ ’’’ - Background – When Prahlada is crying out his heart beseeching the Lord to manifest, he (Prahlada) happens to hear sounds of Vina. He assumes that someone is approaching him. He urges that person – whoever he is (Anupallavi) – to appear before him. And, for that, he swears by his devotion (Anupallavi) and other facts as given in the Charanas.
- General – hiraNya kazipu , because of his spite against Lord Hari caused all these troubles (mentioned in Charanas 2 and 3) to his own son Prahlada.
