A healthy form for Indra, or
Nectar for demons—these are truly unattainable.
For the ascetics, there is naught but turmoil from the barbarians.
O Sacred One! O Fortune of Tyagaraja! Sri Rama!

Commentary
- dEvEndruniki sudEhamu There are many stories of Indra being cursed. From the word ‘sudEhamu ’, it most probably refers to the episode of Ahalya, where sage Gautama curses him to lose his testicles (Srimad Valmiki Ramayana, Bala Kanda, Chapter 48).
- pUrvadEvulu : Asuras, as per the Amarakosa:
asurA daitya-daitEya-danujEndrAri-dAnavAH
zukraziSyA ditisutAH pUrvadEvAH suradviSaH
- pUrvadEvulaku amRta abhAvamu - This refers to churning of the Milk Ocean and denial of nectar to demons.
- vanacara bAdhalu – In Srimad Valmiki Ramayana (Aranya Kanda, Chapter 6), the sages complain about the troubles from the forest-dwelling barbarians and Sri Rama assures them protection.
