  • kRta aparAdhi – this is how it is given in all the books and the meaning derived is ‘I have committed sins’. But, this could be true only if it is ‘,kRta aparAdha ’ and not ‘kRta aparAdhi ’. However, the same meaning has been retained. As it stands, in my humble opinion, Sri Thyagaraja seems to tell the Lord ‘You have condemned me as an offender’.
