– As per ValimIki Ramayana, Hanuman was the son of wind-god.
- According to certain legends, Anjaneya is considered to be the avatar of Lord Siva. However, the statement that Anjaneya is the avatar of Vinayaka needs to be verified. In his book, TKG states that ‘Sangraha Ramayana’ is the authority for this statement of Sri Thyagaraja.
