Commentary
- 1 rAya – This is a title for Kings of Andhra and Karnataka. It also means ‘Lord’, ‘Master’. However, it is not clear whether Sri Tyagaraja uses this word as a form of respect or as an epithet to indicate that Sri Narada is ‘Master’ preceptor. It has translated as ‘respected’ here.
